When Lisa and I got married, one of the songs sung at our wedding was Scott Wesley’s Brown “I Wish You Jesus.” That was my desire for everyone who attended our wedding, and it was my desire for Lisa and me — whatever would happen in life, good or bad, easy or hard —we wanted Jesus to be at the center of it.
Oh Gary, I haven’t even listened to the sermon yet! When you mentioned, being frustrated with Christians disagreeing with each other on issues and almost forgetting to recognize Jesus and the gift He gave us! This hit my heart!
This is what has made me have some incredibly sleepless nights while our now former associate pastor left in a way none of the elders had anticipated or wanted.
