Why subscribe?
Simply Sacred is about living life as if "God is in the room" because He is. We know that, but we forget it. We'll explore family relationships and faith with Jesus at the center as we encourage each other to seek first the Kingdom of God. It's all about getting closer to Christ and closer to others.
You’ll get:
· One or two new blog posts a week, divided between relational columns (marriage/singleness—Closer to Others) and spiritual formation (Closer to Christ).
You’ll get to help shape and respond to drafts of future books, and together we’ll help form each other’s thinking for how best to communicate God’s truth for marriages and spiritual growth in a practical way that honors God’s Word and is true to life
I’ll also post selections from books in composition, to refine my own thinking and to gain wisdom from your perspective
· Regular selections from already published books
Maybe you’re not sure about buying an entire book on a subject; this gives you a chance to experience many of them in bite-sized increments.
· Occasional Podcasts
I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked to do a podcast, but I’m not ready to make that regular investment. However, as issues arise or as interesting people cross my path, I’ll post occasional podcasts you can listen to.
· Sermons
By God’s kindness, I’ve been invited to preach in hundreds of pulpits. We want to bring many of these sermons to you.
· We’ll also offer, from time to time, steep discounts on books and signed copies, just to express our appreciation and excitement for your participation and support.
There will still be one free monthly blogpost a month, so you can subscribe to that for free, but to get the regular posts and access to the Zoom calls and all the other benefits, we will invite you to become a paid subscriber at a very nominal rate. My goal is to create a community that is passionate about marriage and also for those who are passionate about spiritual formation—including diving in to the Christian classics, with reviews and discussions.
